Job Specification
The Role
- As a Robot Technician you will ultimately be responsible for maintaining and carrying out repairs to welding robots and associated equipment.
- Ensure that production and efficiency targets are achieved.
- You will also be expected to work with maintenance techs to fault find on breakdowns and carry out planned/improvement activities.
- Supporting new product introduction.
- Recognise and implement TPM.
- Work with OEM on breakdown issues and service/spares.
The Person
- Ideally hold experience within a similar role, gained in a fast moving, automotive manufacturing environment.
- A sound knowledge of Yaskawa robots and Mig welding.
- An understanding of PLC’s (Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens etc.).
- Conversant with preventative maintenance techniques.
- Recognise and implement TPM.
