Job Specification

The Role

• Following diagrams and basic engineering drawings to follow to build a variety of components
• After training will be expected to work on both bespoke and new products and regular batch products, and to interchange between the products where required
• Working with a variety of hand tools, including crimpers, small drills, power tools, and some specialist soldering equipment
• Will be expected to complete visual quality inspections and expected to be able to report quality issues to the relevant department
• Packing items in to boxes, palletizing products, and completing basic warehouse duties when required, although this will be a secondary role and only expected to complete when required
• This is a fast paced, target driven role, due to the importance of the products being manufacturer, you will be expected to complete the role within a timely and accurate manner

The Person

• Candidates who have either worked in manufacturing before, or would be interested in working in a fast product environment
• No qualifications required but previous electrical or electronic manufacturing would be advantageous and reduce training periods
• Good attitude, and flexible to work on a variety of different sections within the department when required

The Hours

• Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00
• Opportunities for overtime on a weekly basis

The Pay

• £8.72 - £10.00  per hour
