Job Specification

The Role

• Ensure that everyone works in a safe manner, ensuring compliance at all times with Company policy and procedures regarding Health and Safety, standards of product quality, housekeeping and hygiene
• Complete all necessary checks and paperwork, as and when required
• FLT driving to help with loading and unloading wagons if required
• Use a Counterbalance FLT to transport materials
• Completing safety checks on FLT prior to use
• Complete relevant checks on ancillary equipment and record when necessary
• Carry out general housekeeping duties, as and when required
• Report all hazards by filling in the Hazard Book
• Comply with appropriate PPE requirements at all times
• Work as part of a team to achieve production targets

The Candidate

• Need to have an in date and valid Counterbalance forklift truck license
• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary

The Hours

• Continentals: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00, 2 days, 2 nights, 2 off repeat 4 times, followed by 10 days off

• £9.00 - £12.00 per hour
