Company Description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist glass manufacturer based in the Gateshead area. We are looking for candidates who have experience working within the glass or fabrication industry.

Job Specification

The Role

  • The role will be based on a bench cutting glass products into precision size prior to installation
  • Will be completing quality inspection on a variety of glass products, and ensuring items are within precision cuts
  • Assembly of double-glazing units and building components
  • Working with glass cutting equipment for cutting materials into precision size
  • Following basic engineering drawing and diagrams

The Person

  • Ideally should come from either a manufacturing or UPVC fabrication background
  • Should be comfortable working a variety of shift patterns
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
