Our client based in the West Newcastle area have an outstanding opportunity for a Mechanically biased Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Job Specification

The Role

General fault finding.
Install and modify machinery and equipment as required.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Experience in chemical handling.
Good communication skills.
Familiar with liquid filling equipment.
Familiar with tube filling equipment.
Knowledge of basic PLC fault finding.
Working on conveyor systems, small motors and pumps.
Conduct electrical isolations and minor electrical fault finding.
Good awareness of Health and Safety.
Dealing with on site contractors and filling in of Permits to work.

The Person

NVQ level 3 qualified.
Experienced multi skilled technician with mechanical bias.
Skilled working on pneumatics and hydraulics.
