Job Specification

The Role

• Following strict quality checking procedures
• Reporting faulty products to supervisors and filling out relevant paper work for traceability purposes
• Running and maintaining machinery, and being trained to ultimately set the machinery
• Completing roll changes on machines, and assist in changing tools
• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Labelling products and ensuring items are prepared for dispatch
• Manually labouring duties including carrying up to 25 kg
• Strict adherence to health and safety standards, including wearing PPE
• Running completed products through metal detectors to ensure they have no contamination
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties

The Person

• Ideally have production or similar background but full training can be given for candidates without manufacturing background
• Must be looking for a long term role
• Must be comfortable for work a variety of shift patterns, and comfortable working on 12 hour shifts
• Should be flexible for overtime and change of shirt patterns

The Pay

• £8.72 per hour

The Hours

• Continentals, 3 days on, 3 days off
• 7:00am - 19:00pm, 19:00pm - 7:00am
• This will include weekend work.
