Job Specification

The Role

• This role will be working on is both a fleet of vehicles which are used regularly, which range from class 2, 7.5 tonne and 3.5 tonne vehicles
• Carrying out both preventative vehicle maintenance and servicing
• MOT preparation and repairs on vehicles and completing reports
• Trouble shooting and diagnosing faults on MOT vehicles
• Completing road testing and repair of broken parts
• Completing administration tasks on time to a consistently high standard
• Able to work both in a team and individually
• Ability to work on light commercial, heavy goods, and plant machinery would be preferred

The Person

• Must be a qualified HGV technician or completed an apprenticeship in HGV fitting
• Flexible to work in a variety of environments including plant area, and in the garage
• Ideally should have own tools and be flexible to start immediately

The Hours

• Monday – Friday, 07:00 am – 16:30 pm
• Overtime available at weekends and evenings

The Pay

• Salary ranging from 27,000 to 31,000 per year depending on experience
• Hourly rate would be anywhere between £13.00 - £15.50 per hour
