Job Specification

The Role

• Working in a fast paced and exciting working environment in a rapidly growing business
• Operating various wood cutting machinery to produce required products from diagrams
• Using hand tools daily including hammers and nail guns
• Heavy lifting, moving completed items by hand to required areas of the warehouse
• Applying brackets, hinges and metal trims
• Packaging of finished products prior to delivery
• Quality inspection at all stages of the production process to meet customer expectations

The Person

• A keen eye for detail, checking for any inconsistencies in the wood before, during and after production
• A good work ethic due to the expectation of the employer
• Experience in producing frames and various wooden products
• Able to use woodworking machinery and hand tools
• The ability to understand technical drawings
• Use of measuring gauges to ensure the products meets customer expectation
• Good organisation and planning skills, including time management of their own working day to hit production targets
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team to meet deadlines

The Hours

• 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday

The Pay 

• £8.72 - £13.10 per hour
