Company Description
MTrec are a currently recruiting for a specialist surface mount operator based in the County Durham area. The position is a long term role, working towards a permanent contract, after a successful trial period. The company are world renowned leaders in their industry and are interested in training a candidate to be a machine setter. The initial training can take anywhere from 3-12 months due to the complexity of the machinery.
Job Specification
The Role
- Following basic drawing and diagrams for ensuring items are within the precision standard
- Setting and making adjustments to the machinery
- Overviewing and making changes to the setting where required, after training there will be aspects of programing and maintenance of machinery
- Completing full quality inspections, marking defects and using a variety of quality tools such as verniers and micrometres
- Will be working in a small team, and expected to have constant communication with members of staff
The Person
- Previous experience within engineering or manufacturing would be
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced automated manufacturing company

- Hours ranging from 07:00 – 15:00 / 15:00 – 23:00 / 23:00 – 07:00

- £8.77 - £11.50 per hour
