Job Specification

The Role

• Will be based in a machine shop and press shop where the role can vary on a daily basis
• Operation of a both semi-automatic and press machinery for manufacturing a variety of different metal components
• Training will be given to operators to be taught how to set and ultimately programme machinery
• Variety of quality inspection duties including evaluating complete products again quality assurance paper work
• Reading engineering drawing prior to the manufacturing process prior to starting processes
• Following standard operation protocols and will follow full health and safety standards including social distancing
• Manually placing completed products in locations prior for dispatch
• General house keeping duties where required 

The Person

• Flexible for a variety of shift rotations prior to starting the position, if there are any shifts that you are unable or unwilling to work please do not apply
• Should have a minimum of 2 years within a manufacturing environment, or in a similar environment
• Must be comfortable working overtime where required
• Interested in working towards a permanent contract, as the training periods require that candidates are interested in a permanent contract after successful training

 The Hours

• Hours can vary from 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 / 22:00 – 06:00 and 06:00 – 18:00 pm
