Job Specification

The Role

• Based in a very fast warehouse and distribution centre where the role can change on a daily and hourly basis depending on incoming deliveries and out-going deliveries
• Will be attending a daily shift meetings with senior warehouse management, and on occasions production management will additionally be involved
• Following specific picking lists, but these can change throughout the day depending on new deliveries that can come in
• Picking items, and packing items in to boxes, labelling, and placing in to an alphabetical and numerical coding systems for dispatch
• Working with pallet trucks for transporting items within the warehouse
• Will be manually lifting products, ranging between 21kg in 22kg in weight
• Previous experience of operation of a counter balance fork truck would be advantageous as there are opportunities to gain training and FLT licences
• Once training completed will be expected to be loading and unloading of wagons where required (This will be a maximum of 15% of the role)
• Previous experience of working with computer systems for updating stock would be advantageous 

The Person

• A willing flexible attitude is a must as you will be joining and experienced team
• Experience within a fast warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is advantageous
• Willing to work overtime when required

• 07:45 – 17:00 pm – Monday – Friday
