Job Specification

The Role

• The role will be the operation of sewing machinery including flat bed and over locker sewing machinery
• You will be expected to work a variety of products, but the role will be primarily batch products
• Expected to be complete own quality assurance, and sign documentation to advise work has been checked prior to items being dispatched
• Although the role will be primarily based on a sewing machine, on occasions may be required to assistant in other departments

The Person

• Must have operated a sewing machine ideally in a manufacturing setting but experience of sewing machinery in general would be considered a
• Should be comfortable working a variety of shift rotations, and be flexible during this time
• Be available to start immediatley. 
• There will be some training given, but due to the emergency nature of the products and time frame required, must be understanding that training might not be as thorough as usually would be expected
• Candidates who have not operated a sewing machine in numerous years will be considered to the position
