Job Specification

The Role

• Will involve the supervision of a team loading and unloading ships.
• Maintain and co-ordinate Stevedoring operations and warehousing.
• Stock control in line with corporate targets.
• Any other reasonable task as required by the Company.
• Be involved in annual appraisals and personal development plans.
• Ensure training and development within the team.
• Effectively coach and mentor the team.
• Ensure Health and Safety is followed at all time.

 The Person

• You must have previous supervisory experience ideally within a port/marine environment.
• Experience of heavy lifting operations, working at height would be advantageous.
• Must be flexible to work OT and weekends.
• Self-motivated, with drive and enthusiasm.
• Clear evidence of working with people to get results.
• Planning and organising skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
