Job Specification

The Role

• Will initially be day shift but then will move to double days.
• You will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and development of the QMS.
• Planning and conducting of internal audits to the relevant standards/specifications to which the organisation subscribes. 
• Where required you will also support the wider QA function in conducting supplier audits within your regions.
• As part of the management of the QMS you will conduct final approval and publishing of documents within the QMS.
• You will be responsible for the QA inspection release of final product and will also play a key role in managing the relationship between Third Party organisations and customers during product inspections and audits.
• Be responsible for the QA final release inspection of aftermarket and product and product line in line with production schedule.
• Assist in the planning of and conduct and report internal and where required supplier audit.

The Person

• You will demonstrate excellent customer and supplier quality skills together with strong problem solving skills within the manufacturing industry.
• Educated to degree level or relevant experience in Quality Management Systems or Engineered Product Manufacturer.
• Have the ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Technical / Engineering background.
• Experience with ISO 9001 would be preferred.
• Excellent communication / IT skills.
• Must be happy to work 2 shifts.
• Ability to self-manage.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Proven experience in Quality Management. Take responsibility for personal development.
