Job Specification

The Role

• To ensure that the production plan is followed whilst on shift, modifying it if necessary after consultation with the production management or planning;
• To be accountable for the full and comprehensive recording of process information and adherence to process work instructions;
• To monitor processing for non-conformances and to report such to the Shift Supervisor; be accountable for variances against standard yields and times;
• To ensure the efficient processing of products in relation to raw materials, labour, plant occupancy and plant utilisation in a safe manner;
• To ensure the safe and complete handover of the designated areas to the oncoming shift

The Person

• Must have previous Chemical or Pharmaceutical experience in a Process Op role.
• Happy to work continental shifts.
• A Degree in Chemistry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working in a batch production environment.
• Excellent team working skills coupled with ability to work on own initiative.
• Can-do attitude and flexible approach to work.
• Strong continuous improvement ethic.
