Job Specification

The Role

• Provide maintenance support to production by ensuring fast response to equipment problems.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement suitable solutions.
• Provide support to on site engineering projects
• Provide engineering solutions to reoccurring incidents of equipment problems.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical work.
• Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum, respond to breakdowns.

The Person

• Essential candidates are from an engineering/manufacturing background
• A sound knowledge of PLC is also required.
• Successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience of machine installation work.
• ATEX experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must be flexible to be on call once every 3 weeks.
• Must be flexible to work shifts if required.
