The Role

• To plan the most efficient method of manufacture
• Create engineering routings & plans to issue to production.
• Provide engineering drawings to aid manufacture using 2D & 3D CAD packages.
• Assist with the implementation of appropriate manufacturing jigs.
• Implement the launch of the parts into production
• Provide effective communications and technical support to our clients.
• Track project cost in line with estimate.
• Support production throughout the manufacturing process.
• Meet pre-production engineering requirements/deadlines.

The Person

• You will have an understanding of the processes involved in our manufacturing facility including machining, fabrication, welding, laser cutting, CNC forming and painting in a sub-contract environment.
• Good communication, a team player, and is comfortable with the pressures of working to time deadlines.
• Have a good understanding of engineering materials.
• Experience of 2D CAD required & Inventor 3D would be advantageous.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and ideally is confident in the use of an ERP system
• Experience in a similar field is essential.
• A driven individual with a desire to achieve results and attention to detail.
