Job Specification

The Role

• Providing quality support in the manufacturing of components and assemblies.
• Assuring a Quality product and service is manufactured.
• Develop and expert knowledge of the company's products and systems.
• To assist in the timely and effective containment and resolution of Quality concerns at suppliers, in-house and customers.
• To be pro-active in identifying potential concerns and implementing corrective actions to prevent re-occurrenceAssist with driving quality improvements within the plant using 8D tools.
• Analysis of returns, concerns and defects found in the production.
• Quality Audits within all manufacturing areas in line with company procedures.

The Person

• Must have previous experience in a similar quality role within engineering or manufacturing,
• Good level of technical capability
• Experience of using a variety of measuring devices i.e. verniers and micrometres.
• Experienced in Quality Management Systems.
• Experience of Quality Techniques, including problem solving skills including 8D.
• PC skills and user knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word.
• Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
