Job Specification
The Role
- Provide maintenance support to production by ensuring fast response to equipment problems
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement suitable solutions.
- Provide support to on site engineering projects.
- Provide engineering solutions to reoccurring incidents of equipment problems.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical work.
- Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum, respond to breakdowns.
The Person
- To be considered for the role you should possess the following qualifications:ONC/HNC in Mechanical discipline.
- FMCG or automotive background.
- Level 3 in Engineering.
- Core skills Level 3.
- Successfully completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Experience of machine installation work.
- Experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.
