Job Specification

The Role

• To provide a repair or calibration service covering a wide range of products.
• Ensuring that at all times the quality of repairs is of the highest standard and that customer expectations are exceeded.
• Ensure required turnaround time are achieved for all repairs.
• Completion of all mandatory technical processes relating to the repairs as detailed in Test certificates and service manuals.
• Correct input of all data into test certificates / calibration certificates / databases.
• Preparation of technical repair reports as required by the customer.
• Completion of all service orders to ensure accurate quotation and invoice creation.
• Ensure material requirements are entered on to the service order accurately.
• Ensure correct handling of spare parts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
• Compliance with health and safety requirements within the workshop at all times.

The Person

• ONC/HNC Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience of working within an electronic repairs environment.
• PC skills with good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• SAP experience preferable.
• Customer focus with a positive attitude towards solving customer problems
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Confident and able to work under own initiative.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
