Company Description

Our client is a highly successful Engineering company based in Northumberland. They are part of a global group, with an incredible and unprecedented multi-million-pound investment programme planned for their North East facility.

They have an ongoing expansion plan with new machines being continuously installed as part of a modernisation process being implemented to embed the latest modern manufacturing tools, techniques and systems. The site is having the newest and industry leading manufacturing methods being developed. They also have an incredible blue-chip customer base, with most of the world’s leading OEM manufacturers, with huge levels of demand for many years into the future - which is growing continuously. To cope with these improvements and changes the site has grown with a new extension for further capacity and investment. The business is also embracing a new modern and forward-thinking culture, with great opportunities for training and development, and career progression. To support their on-going projects, they are now looking for a number of CNC Machinists to set, operate and run their newest and latest CNC machines. They are ideally looking for CNC Turners, though they will also recruit CNC Millers and provide cross training to run the turning machines. The roles are working a rotating 3 shift pattern, Monday to Friday.

We have met with their MD and Operations Manager, and we would truly recommend these opportunities for any CNC Machinists looking for a positive, secure and long-term career move, and working in an engineering environment which is multi sector and isn’t reliant on one particular area of the economy doing well, so they are insulated against the fluctuations experienced in the region over the past couple of years. The company has a growing and expanding customer order book for many years, you will grow and flourish in this true North East success story.
