Job Specification


The Role

  • The role is to produce quality designs and document packages on time, within budget and in accordance with required specifications. 
  • Developing cost effective solutions for electrical equipment and installation on all equipment.
  • Generation of engineered solutions to satisfy client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Product development and technical advancement for cost reduction and added value equipment.
  • Generation of documents including cable schedules plus electrical and instrumentation fit-out drawings.
  • Design and incorporate control systems necessary for effective operation of equipment.
  • Component selection and design integration with mechanical/fabricated counterparts.
  • Reduce cost and lead-time for electrical engineering and associated equipment.

 

The Person

  • HND or higher in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Related Experience in below:
  • Electrical circuits, wiring and control panels experience.
  • Installation of LV electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Understanding of 3D modelling techniques and drawing creation using 2D software packages.
  • Electrical installation practices for onshore and offshore equipment packages.
  • Factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning of control panels and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of international standards, hazardous area installations and health & safety regulations.
