Our client is a successful and established company based in Hartlepool. They are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a full time, temporary basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.
Job Specification
The Role
- Receive and enter customer orders onto the MRP system.
- Review order confirmations and verify accuracy within 48 hours of order entry and notify customer.
- Keep clients informed about order progress and status.
- Take appropriate action to maximise punctuality and prevent delays.
- Handle all order amendments, whether requested by the customer or company and communicate the status to all parties involved.
- Work with Planning and Sales to determine inventory management plans for customers.
- Respond and assist on all supply chain related issues.
- Receive and manage customer complaints and enter into the database.
- Liaise with Sales Managers to bring complaints to a close and complete the administration instructions accordingly.
- Effectively escalate any issues to supervisors or senior managers where appropriate.
- Maintain customer records and master data. Ensure its accuracy on a consistent basis.
- Identify and proactively manage your training needs.
- Provide cover to co-workers on holiday or sickness leave.
The Person
- Previous customer service experience ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience of using ERP systems.
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages such and Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Customer focused attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
- Have effective time management skills.
- Positive can-do attitude and a team player.
- Be proactive with problem solving and working on own initiative.
- Maintain and observe a high level of professionalism at all times.
